WIW/Happy festive celebration

So today is WIW. I don't have much to show and ask for today. It also 9 days to a brand new year. I'm so excited. A lot of festivity in the air and also all i want for the remajning part is of year is for everyone to have a lovely time with their family and also a better 2016. 2015 has been a great year and I'm convinced that 2016 would even be greater. Remember to grab every positive opportunity you get and step out of your comfort zone. Don't be put done by the current situation especially if it's bad. Just remember to keep your head up high and keep on fighting to the finish line.

I wish you a merry Christmas and a prosperous 2016. From Chi Ari's blog it's time to take my leave (lol) till next year.

The future!!! A bright tomorrow

So today's blog is dedicated to amazing children around the word. I attended a Christmas Cantata/Concert and seeing the children performed melted my heart. I thought to myself, I was once like this so bold, loud,  confident and eager to take corrections and learn new things. Most times as we grow up we loose those important characteristics we had a children. Let's sit back this festive season and ponder on what childhood means and how you can better the lives of our children (the future).

This writeup is dedicated to the Future generations (our children)

We heard the rumbles of distant drum announcing your birth.
In a land of abundant luxury we celebrated your birth.
With the thrill of being the child of all you desire.
The thought of being the beloved of all you admire,
You braced up for a bacchanalia,
With the lavish of love people a pool you have made for yourself
Ecstacy of outstanding performance you have learnt to its depth.
The excitement of young and old friends you have in full measure.
All in a land of perpetual utopia and unfocused philosophy.

At birth you were the darling of all,
Now you are the hope for tomorrow,
A star waiting to shine.
Alas! You can correct the mistakes of this present generation.
The thorns of the rose flower does not take away his beauty.
Stand firm child! Stand bold! Bold like a lion!
There is light at the end of the tunnel

Letter to self

Dear self,

It been forever since i wrote a letter to you but this letter is a reminder of who you are. Remember those years where you never felt confident and you were always fearful of what you would become. The fear of the unknown future always hunted you. Now, you have become a confident version of your former self. Why because you realise that the only thing you were afraid was you and how much potential you have. This rude awakening has created a new version of you. Look in the mirror 'self', and tell me what you see?

"My deepest fear is not that I am inadequate. My deepest fear is that I am powerful beyond measure. I ask my 'self', Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually who are you not to be? I was born to make manifest the glory of God that is within me. And as I let my own light shine, I unconsciously give other people permission to do thesame" (Marianne Williamson). Now do you see that you have a bright future?

Just remember you can only get better each passing day. Don't waste your time criticising others rather use that time to make a better you. Dear self, remember that you can't give what you don't have. So I ask you self what do you have? You say you want to change the world but have you changed you? What do you have in you that can bring about the change you seek? You're 100% full of potential and the world awaits your manifestation.

Dear self, don't join the crowd who fidgets at the thought of limitations and impossibilities instead let those word make you break boundaries and do things that 'the crowd' never knew could be possible.

Dear self, keep this letter and read this as a continous reminder of how you ought to see the world and ultimately your'self'.

Sigining out,
Letter from A Flawless Representative of my Creator who is perfect in all ways....

‘Maintain your champion’

Hello Bloggee long time no gist. So today’s blog was inspired by two things: a vlog (Ngee show link would be posted below) I watched and also a celebrity show on some random channel. So let’s talk about the blog title. Maintain your championship simply means sticking to your talent(s). Everyone has a skill or talent whether discovered or not. I’m all about discovering what they are and this involves researching and trying things out. So one of the examples shared in the vlog was becoming a makeup artist. This has become a recent trend if yall have noticed the famous MUA hashtag. I love makeup and trying out new makeup related things but I cannot give myself the MUA title because I have not invested in becoming a makeup artist so I cannot magically become a MUA overnight because I feel like I know ‘much’ about makeup.

The second inspiration was a show I also watched recently. A veteran actor (Saint Obi every high school girls crush lol) was featured in the show. He has been silent for many years and all of a sudden he made an announcement that he is now a musician. I was a bit sceptically but I’m all for discovering all your talent so I became excited to hear what songs he had already released. My dear bloggees I could not believe my ears. It was 100% autotuned and lacked any form of creativity, or rhythm or even ‘amazing’ afro beats. I was super disappointed. It reminded me of all those MTN project fame audition or 9ja idol audition were some people just decided to embarrass themselves on national TV. Sometimes I wonder if they have no friends in life. It just funny and sad at the same time.

You can watch the vlog to get some few areas where people refused to maintain their championship. If you decide to share your talent on a professional basis or use it to make money then be at least 70% that what you are doing has met an acceptable standard. Make sure you do your research, invest in yourself and your talent. Make sure that the services you are offering is approximately equivalent to the amount you charge. World best footballers are paid that huge amount of money because they have developed and trained their talent. They have full knowledge of their worth and can happily share that amazingly developed talent with the world.

The moral of the story is just maintain your champion #inchigurl’svoice#
